About Our Cluster
The Brannel Cluster of Schools is a group of schools made up of one Secondary and its main feeder Primaries who serve children and the communities who live in what is known as 'The Clay' in central Cornwall.
Our ambition in working together is to provide a consistent, exciting and rewarding experience of education in the area from Early Years through to Post-16. We collaborate closely in the three main areas of School Improvement, Aspiration and Community.
Headteachers from the schools meet twice per term to plan events and coordinate collaborative opportunities. Governors from the schools meet once per term to monitor the work of the schools and to provide strategic direction.
The purpose of this website is to celebrate the many achievements of the Cluster and our children.

As a Cluster, we work closely together to develop strategies that lead to a mutual improvement of the educational experience for children in our schools. School improvement activities have included shared INSET days to work together, moderation of work, school visits and school to school support for various development needs.
We have the highest aspirations for our children. It is important to each of our schools and to the Cluster to ensure that our children are well prepared for their futures and plan to follow pathways that will lead to them achieving their full potential. Each year, all children complete their Aspirations Passport which tracks their likes, interests and plans. As a Cluster, we then plan to provide worthwhile experience to develop their aspirations.
The area which our schools serve has a very strong sense of community. As a Cluster, we try to strengthen that community by providing opportunities for our children to work and associate together throughout the year. From transition events, to sports, discos and awards. We work together to bring the community together.
